PDI in Phoenix, controversy or not?

As of the writing of this post, ACCESS as an organization does not have an official position on the Arizona immigration law. I personally was just wondering what people in the field are thinking about.

*How might laws like this affect young children and their families as well as associate level students? What points are important to consider?

I googled “Arizona immigration law”and pulled up the following stories:

  • A poll from USA Today suggests that more Americans want AZ style immigration laws
  • LA County votes to boycott AZ over immigration law
  • Feds challenge immigration law.

When you “leave a comment” at the top of this post, you can just use your first name or an online name. In other words, it can be anonymous. This blog should be a forum for honest dialogue about our field as well as current policies and politics at state and national levels. Please feel free to respectfully express your opinion about this topic as it relates to our field.

What do you think ACCESS members?
